Prontoport are pleased to announce the securing of a new 2 year framework agreement with Siemens Offshore Projects procured via a competitive tender process.

David Hatfield, Operations Manager comments, ‘’This new contract cements Prontoports position as a preferred and trusted partner to Siemens Offshore Projects – we have worked alongside Siemens, not only in Offshore Projects but also with Siemens On-Shore Service divisions for a number of years now delivering first class engineering support services’’.

Prontoport supports Siemens on a number of sites within the UK including Gwynt y Mor, West of Duddon Sands and Walney - it is hoped that this new framework will create many more new employment opportunities for existing experienced technicians and up and coming apprentices.

Prontoport have carried out servicing and repairs on well over 50% of the UK’s Wind Farms– a record to be proud of by anyone’s standards.

Based in Irvine, North Ayrshire, Prontoport employ nearly 50 staff including 40 highly trained turbine technicians that carry out offshore and onshore duties with this figure on target to significantly increase by the end of the year.
