Asset Management is an area of engineering that we take very seriously, so much so that we have invested very heavily into our own bespoke system - The Prontoport Engineering Tracking System Application (PESTA) is a web-based business system that has been designed from the ground up to tightly control the various engineering activities being conducted simultaneously by our engineers whilst in geographically dispersed locations. Prontoport technicians currently use laptops and smart phones to quickly update the system on a daily and live basis. This granular data has proven invaluable for driving continuous improvement across plant assets.
Our system is highly scalable and is supporting the rapid growth of Prontoport with reliability and security ensured with professionally managed application hosting. The application runs on high availability web servers with data backups taken securely on a daily basis to a second site to provide a robust approach to business continuity.
Prontoport has the capability to readily extend its core business system to pull data from Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and push it to enterprise information systems such as SAP, Peoplesoft, Maximo, JD Edwards, Sage and Microsoft Dynamics as may be required.
Our clients, through a secure login, have the option to access PESTA to ensure complete visibility of their asset but also Prontoport’s engineer’s activities.
